The rooms were really new and clean. Super spacious. The staff was super nice to us all the time and we felt really at home. The beach is a super small bay with no waves… so is was perfect for swimming and just relaxing without worries. All pools were super clean … they were a bit warm in my opinion and idk if it was because the actual weather (35 Celsius almost everyday) or because the heater was on… I totally would be coming back at try to stay at one of the villas with pool 🙂 Food was really good in general.
What impressed us most were the dedicated workers at Vallarta Gardens. They were all committed to making sure our stay was wonderful. Especially (and I’ll forget some, I’m sure) Manuel (drinks), Luis (snack bar), Sergio, Cesar and Heribitto (meals), I had the best massages (in the room) ever but don’t remember their names.
Vallarta Gardens is a very beautiful, quiet timeshare resort. All the staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. A special shoutout to the waiters, Caesar, Pascal and the head evening waiter (can’t remember his name), as well as the head bartender Luis and bartender Martha. The food was absolutely delicious, great presentation. The only thing my husband and I didn’t like was that there were no activities to do at the resort and everything, including the bar closed up by 9:00pm.
My wife and I spent 5 nights here in Oct 2018, the cold season as the locals referred to it LOL. We are from Ohio so we know cold 🙂 The resort and the surrounding grounds are just spectacular; you feel like you are in a tropical garden it’s very beautiful. Our room was a villa it was extremely spacious, very well maintained, very clean, and an amazing shower. We of course had a timeshare tour that was not as bad as some reviews I had read. It lasted a little longer but they were respectful, pushy but not overly aggressive. We declined to buy and that was that. My only gripes…1) the pools look nice and they are clean, the main pool just seemed a little dated and may be due for a makeover and 2) the menu’s we had to select meals from was very bland and basic and after 4 days just got old. I am sure if you are an owner the meal selections may be better but for the tourists you get just the basic menu every day. The drinks at the bar were the best drinks we had; the resort was not busy at all we felt as if we were alone. Overall, I would stay here again.
